This week, I demonstrate an unusual technique to paint a portrait of Will Young for episode 5 of Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Week. Then, I create my finished portrait painting using the same technique but taking more time. Materials used: Brown Sharpie marker pen, Winsor & Newton sepia watercolour paint, synthetic brushes (large round mop and medium round), mixed media paper.
