Materials used: A2 Daler-Rowney mixed media paper, Winsor & Newton watercolor markers (turquoise and magenta), Chroma Inc Atelier interactive acrylics: alizarin crimson, french ultramarine blue, cadmium yellow, titanium white, burnt umber, Synthetic brushes (flats and round flat)
Episode W of the Animal Alphabet Challenge. Using sharpie marker pen and watercolor, I paint a Wildebeest and then do a painting of a Warthog.

We're up to week 7 of the Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Week show. In my quest to use a new technique in each of these PAOTW videos, here I combine watercolor (dry brush), ball point pen and graphite pencil in an unusual order to create a mized media portrait painting of Clare Balding.
