About ten years ago I designed a logo for BMX rider Lee Musselwhite and it's cool to see that Lee is still riding and still using the logo for his company Inspire Promotions. The logo has also recently appeared on the Lee Musselwhite model of Origaudio's headphones.

Wembury beach painting

'Wembury Blue' - this acrylic painting was inspired by the view looking east from the rock pools of Wembury Beach on the south coast of Devon near Plymouth on a bright sunny day!
 The beach is well worth a trip for scenic walks, soaking up the sun of whiling away the hours exploring the hundreds of rock pools. The painting above is also available as a high quality fine art print and on a range of greetings cards.

"The Courage of Youth" - This young cow was found in a field north of Exeter in Devon. In this acrylic painting I've deliberately used non-realistic colors but at the same time endeavored to keep the hues harmonious so that they are striking but not jarring. The "blue lighting" has become something of a signature in my work and can be seen in several of my animal and figure paintings.

"Baby blue" - This product features a Mike Jory acrylic, charcoal and pastel painting of a young foal found on Dartmoor a National Park in Devon, United Kingdom. The picture was created by using charcoal to lay down the basic tonal shapes. Pastel was used to add some colour and then acrylic glazes were applied to creat some sheen on the horses body and to punch up the colors in certain areas.
