Five minute pelican drawing - episode P - Animal alphabet challenge

In this video, I show you how to draw a pelican in about five minutes or so. You can

The Sunday Art Show - En Plein Air River Exe at Topsham watercolour painting

In this video, I show you some watercolour techniques that allow me to paint a river scene including a distant landscape and boats on the water in about 30 minutes. Working en plein air, I use a combination of watercolor washes applied with a brush and some line work using a watercolour marker pen to quickly create a range of effects and textures.

Synthetic brushes (1/4 inch flat and size 16 round)

Five minute ostrich drawing - Animal Alphabet Challenge - Episode O

This week, we are up to episode O of the Animal Alphabet Challenge and I use the usual Sharpie marker pen and mixed media paper to create five minute (or thereabouts) drawing of an ostrich. These rust red cattle, Red Poll breed were found in a field near Starcross in Devon.
